Silent voices cry out in the dsrk. In my heart I have a longing for peace. Although I'm a Vietnam Vet I do not think the USA should invade Iraq. Something is happening to me.
Bob, I got to your portfolio only now. This picture is 3 months older in the site, but it is so vivid and impressive that I've rated 10. Today, when they are deciding our future, I want to say that you, as a Vietnam Vet, continue to be a strong voice for the people who only wants to take their pictures in peace. Thank you so much for sharing it. Marilia
I know what you are saying. Some times I think that this world has gotton so bad that Nobody stops and think's about that one precious human life. And indeed killing in general, will once again only prove how mighty a power is. The part I don't like is being a number, yes we know that miltary will be involded, military will get hurt or die, but so you will that indeviduel or "number" that was caught in the middle. That can not ever be replaced. We all know in heart's that killing is wrong. If killing or death were normal than lossing someone to death or the thought of being dead would not hurt so much. It is alway's stumbling to see killing justified from either power that may be.
I'm a Vietnam vet also. If I had known then what I know now I would never have gone and I might be in Canada or jail right now. Once again it's time for the the US military to test it's latest weapons. Diplomacy and restraint....what's that? There is no way that we're going stop anything our government wants to do. Let's hope they at least get the right guy along with all the innocents this time.
