I really love your work a lot. But you need to consider the eyes totally when you shoot. They must look "alive" and to do this you must have a catch light in them. That gives sparkle and an "alive" quality to the photo. You have a natural ability to take portraits and I think you have a natural design sense. It is proven in this photo. But work on thinking about the eyes when you work.
