Excellent image for such difficult lighting conditions. If you give it more light to emphasize the snow, then the tree texture would be lost and become a bad silhoutte. the compostion is excellent! -- Kind regards, Rafael

On the technical side, I like the exposure in the shadow areas, the bark is clearly readable. However, the overall tonal range seems limited - I would expect the sunlit snow areas to be noticably brighter than they are (while, of course, retaining the texture). On the content side, I get a sense of peacefulness from the image.
