About Pictured is my best friend taking in the view of Mt. Siyeh at Glacier National Park. Sadly this picture doesn't do the view justice! This has proven to be my favorite national park that I've visited so far. With a little luck I'll make it back their this coming year.

Wonderful capture, Jim. Glacier's my favorite national park, too.

A bit heavy on the saturation, and (possibly) the polarizer filter, but none the less a breath taking view. Superb composition... My eyes keep wandering over the scenery, truely impressive.

Cheers,

Hugo

beautiful spot. the curving white of the snow, the clouds and their shadows, and the lake...quite peaceful.

Wonderful shot Jim, lovely colour and composition. Understand what you mean by the photo not doing justice to the view, photos don't always convey the feelings you have when faced with a scene like this in the open air but this does it for me. Steve.

This is a wonderful place, and the photo is also very nice.It immediately reminded me of a similar location on mountain Gamila here in Greece!
I like the saturated colours but I think a little software might help brighten the image a bit.Composition is effective, with the human figure in the right place.
regards,Kostas :-)

Very nice Jim. Glacier is a park I have yet to see. I have to say that the Velvia is doing a lot to punch up the saturation here. Its almost too much for me. Thanks for the comments on my image earlier tonight. The location in not Waterton but the standard Peyto Lake overlook. Keep shooting and we might run into each other this summer! - John

Jim, Though you do not feel that your image does the park justice, it definitely brings back memories from the last time I was out there. You have done an excellent job of capturing the park as I remember it. Regards, Mike

the centre hill is too dark, and the others almost too dark and almost lost the detail... :)
