This really is so disturbingly striking. The idea amazing. Those eyes are almost compelling but frightening and mysterious. Like a dream Freud would love analysing! Such a strong image.

i really like this idea - quite spooky but very meaningful - the colour and tone add to that kind of old frame by frame animated look ..
time is now - the continents huge - many great places - hard to choose..

She's listening for voice that she longs to protect from..but its much louder and the ears much more sensitive then her plastic limbs can bear.... Very powerful photograph..the tone and color stir the soul even more.., nice work. jenni

Lots of symbolism here and a certain sci-fi feel to it. The magenta tone adds to the creepiness. Not your ordinary image. Good for you.

It's questionable how much proctection this little doll can offer, but there's no question of her protective intent. You've done a remarkable job of investing these little bits of plastic with complex emotions. --Jim

yes, I agree with almost all comments here, specially regarding the light, rich in psychological meaning I suppose, the composition too is masterful piece; at first it would resemble something on a murder scene but if one can stop attention to the pose of the puppet, then the extreme trying to avoid the escape of the other puppet particular is very much rich of interest, brava!

Hello Sandy!
I love your symbolic images that speak of psychological truths.
Strength comes from surmounted challenges, not from size.
Great color key you've chosen to work in here.
Best wishes,
David

although the obstacles seemed many.. it seems with each one she hurdled.. her legs grew stronger. as well as her heart... and she became.
