E,
I did try that and this was the steadiest of all the shots... the other one's were way to shaky with the wing...

Sean, I can't tell you what you should or should not have done in this shot. What I will say instead is what I would have tried.
I think you had the right idea here and it looks pretty good. I would have tried to have the shutter open a lot longer so the light streaks are unrecognizeable and the wing is the only thing in the shot that makes sense. REALLY hard to get it right without a tripod, but I think if you shove the lens right up against the window you can hold it fairly steady. Next flight, try again!

Hi Sean, I have nothing to say. Just excellent work! Is interesting the motion that the airplane gave to the photo. Cheers, Jose

Basically thoughts and ideas, to make the photo better... ways to enhance the imagery...

thanks for your comments... i could have toned down the horizon, but i thought the sundown burning oranges helped add to the motion and beauty... thanks again for the feedback.

I've not seen this before and haven't thought of doing it while I'm flying, it is a cool effect.

I like the feeling of motion given by the lights. The horizon a little too bright but it is an excellent capture.
