About I thought I would try the original one more time. I like the image. I ride by this spot almost every day, there is a heavily populated goose pond just beyond. Originally I dodged the geese a bit to bring out some detail which caused confusion. This is a very small area, and yet it always caught my eye as looking like an illustration. Perhaps the most interesting thing is this is one small tiny hill that is part of a prison. Im sure a lot of wishing goes on.

oh yes, and i agree with Katherine Wright's comment..as bright and cheerful as this image seems, there is a darker tone, prison notwithstanding..there is a certain chilly finality to this scene that adds a lot of interest to it.

now, this is just what i meant, perfect balance and this time you got the whole tree. The setting is so picture perfect but it still took your expert eye to take this past the ho-hum pretty to something unique...i love the lighting and the little tuft of grass just peeking up at the edge of the hill. The shadow, the wishing well and the curve of the trunk are perfectly balanced by the geese. How did you ever manage to time this shot so the geese were in just the right spot?? Amazing...kat~

I love this image. At first I thought it must have been constructed in PhotoShop or something. The geese are perfect, balancing the well. The sky is perfect. The tree is wonderful.. I know-- it feels like a fairy tale.
I also like the information-- that this little vision is on prison grounds adds a slightly darker tone (as all good fairy tales have). The tree too, the tree is a little scary. Maybe it's all that perfection-- but I'm starting to feel that this wonderful image frightens me a little bit!

great shot, trees are usually boring, but you continually make them interesting.

Bella, ottimi colori e luci. Suscita pace, serenità...e "solitudine".
Complimenti...sei riuscito a cogliere l'attimo.
Grazie per il tuo commento sulla foto "Rossy".

I like the composition. A nice shot with the geese up in the sky vs. on land. Good colors too. Thanks for your comments on my barn.
