Hi Alan, this picture gives me great memories. I love Sydney and all about it. Love to sit on that restaurant bye the Opera. Last time I were there I shot this photo http://foto.no/cgi-bin/bildekritikk/vis_bilde.cgi?id=66977 Sydney is a long way from Norway but its worth each travel hour a thousands times, regards Jostein

this is excellent Alan, I love how this simple insignificant seagull gets so much attention as it fights with the magnificant famous aussie structure in the background! what a riot. Love it.
cheers, nicole

Hi Alan, I have not seen this more intimate view of the Opera House with the walkway leading into the picture. Very beautiful. Usually see the high angle - from the bridge, I suppose. I hear ya on the joy of music and art/photography. Like your work. Cheers, Leora.

What is so amazing about the Opera house is that so many tourists take the shot while it is covered by cloud (it turns a nasty grey) - instead of waiting 10 seconds for the cloud to clear and to see the brilliant white, like in this photo.
