This is a very nice picture. I do think it could use some more contrast.composition is excellent, mood is great.

I couldn't resist playing with it too since everyone else did. Don't worry it will get deleted after it is posted.

Oooh... So we have the permission to play with your pics !!!

Ok then... Here we go....... Just a lighthearted chocolate tone overlay, a (probably useless) sharpening adjustment layer, some kind of posterisation... crop crop crop frame crop again... Some random dodging and burning... And in the end, U2's lyrics : tadaaaaaaaaaa !!!

What does it say then ?!

The original was just cool btw !!!

goddamn! this is really a great shot. i love the idea here. i think kostas' touchups help it out too. i can't wait to look at the rest of your portfolio.

Take the wide angle distortion, mix in some tracks on the sand that compliment it, then splash on some pale greys to complete the out of this world effect. Do something to the sun so that we are no longer on earth, and you're almost there. Finally, give us a struggle in the midst of this otherworldly heat.

Astounding vision.

PS: grey grad top to bottom or darkroom work, I can't put my finger on it.

Thanks a lot,Kostas.i've found your proposition very attractive, but a tad "too nice". Personally I prefere that dull & muddy version...thanks again & regards, Josh...

So,
here's what I wrote in the first place:
"I like it very much,Josh! Emotionally it is a very strong image, the composition with the sun in the picture and the arrangement of the two persons is very effective (you could move closer, though),but technically there's room for improvement,I think.
Regards,Kostas"

When I wrote "technically", I had something like this in mind, but I like your version, too. :-)
