The G12 my wife I've used many times. It is a great camera. Using it thus less crackles camera. The elbows hooked to the body, hold your breath and shoot night shots.

Why do you take photos from the waist? Do you have an adaptor that allows you to do that?

No Paul, me he expresado mal. Y yo no he sido fotógrafo profesional. Estoy jubilado. Aún me queda mucho que aprender. No Paul, I misspoke. I have not had Rolleiflex or Mamilla. I meant to take photos in the same way that were taken with these cameras. From the waist, as in the photo. And I have not been a professional photographer. I am retired. I still have much to learn.

What I meant by eye level was, not aerial. Aerial shots of people face on seem to work. The key is, as you said, not to make them feel uncomfortable (or even aware) You've owned some nice cameras Alfons. Were you (are you) a professional photographer? Regards

Muchas gracias, Paul. Thank you very much, Paul. Most of the photos will make the waist height and looking at the viewer from above thanks to the casement screen of my camera, as it did before with Rolleiflex, Mamiya and other cameras. Persons are figures that "decorate" the scene. There are two advantages to photograph them back: hidden his face and they do not feel uncomfortable in front of my lens. And, yes, gives the picture an air of mystery. As in other photo I uploaded to IO, where I photographed the shadow of someone hiding behind a column.
Un saludo

Wonderful composition Alfons. Excellent light and shadow, the bend at the end is quite symbolic. Nice Job.

Very beautiful night photos with a touch of drama. However, gentle green detail animates the image. I like that.

Yes, this is a very good photo Alfons. I prefer people, used as figures and shot at eye level, to be walking away from the camera. It looks less confrontational and adds an air of mystery You are getting better and better. Regards
