This is one of the outdoor images that may at first seem overdone. You can find a version of it in almost every photo magazine. What you really have here is an under-rated image, and it is so because of the intense physical effort to get there. My hat is off to you Steve. I made this trip for the first time in 1960, but we didn't have a camera.

Hi Steve, I had a look at your web site - you live in a beautiful state! I can understand these canyons are difficult to capture, the contrast must be very high. This is an outstanding shot, beautiful colours and textures, and a nice 'limelight'.
