Quite lovely. The fact that the flower is not "perfect" adds a certain humanity here. Well done.

Superb macro! Color would detract from the wonderful lines and texture. Very nice work!!!

Gerbera Daisies are my favorite, and the underside of them has a place in my heart. B&W is a nice choice to show all the lines and interesting detail that is usually overlooked. This particular flower seems to be a bit beat up... I see some marred lines and blotches. I think it's okay to show a flower's flaw, but only if that is the main attraction of the picture. Here I find it just distrubs the nice flow of the petals.
I really like the DOF here, how the foremost part of the flower is in focus and then drops off towards the back. Adds a spark of character since so many pictures have everything in focus!

Lovely shot! Like it very much! Beautiful soft light, like this lighting and often use too myself. Excellent DOF using! EXCELLENT image! SO real natural flower image! Congratulation! Regards, ALexey

Being a fan of tight crops and close ups, I loved the thumbnail...I think this can still work, but have just a couple of suggestions...IMO the viewer is drawn to the sharpest area first and in this case, that area has a few flaws in it...if it were mine I would have cloned those areas...the dof again, IMO should be greater, but I think if the flower were cleaned up and the contrast raised a bit it could well be a stunner!...I like the black and white aspect to this and the fact that the whole flower does not appear does not bother me...that simply is an artistic choice

Nice shades of color - whithout colours. Maybe white is the most beautiful color? As I see this photograph I have to say yes.
