The Scots…. Years, decades… nay… hours ago… I loved ‘em. They were the blood of “The Bruce” and Wallace… they fought and denied England… stood hard against the Danes. The Scots… a formerly proud lot in a world of verification. And now, this day…. the Scots set free the Lockerbie Bomber. I will make this short and to the point. A criminal is caught and judged guilty on the crime of killing 270 innocent people. The sentence was for 27 years incarceration…. The reality was 7 years in the slammer. The Scots said, “We are a compassionate people. We understand the thoughts and feeling. To allow this person to die in the comfort of his family… we set this murdering gimp free.” So he can die in the comfort of his family. Did those on PanAm flight 103 have the same consideration? Did those 270 have the luxury of dying in the comforting arms of their family? NO!.... er…. Wait a seconds…. YES!!! Many on the flight did die in the arms of their family. The Scots (the strength of Bruce and Wallace) set the bomber free. I had plans of one day visiting the Highlands… and now, I will never set foot on the land. I wished to see Lochs Lomand and Ness… I pined for Glencoe… Glasgow and Edinburgh… and now I stand strong on the ramparts of Hadrian’s Wall and shake my fist northward…. I will never set foot on the Highlands or the Lowlands…. I will ne’er take a walk on the hills of Scotland. I have deleted these songs: “Scots Wha’hae”, “Mainland”, “What the Scot’s man Wore”, “Scotland the Brave” and a few others from my musical playlist. Set the bomber and killer of 270 free… that’s fine……….. but never look to see me set one foot on your soil. The decision to set the bomber free has taken the heart out of the Scots. The person who set the man free snaked the spine from Scotland and wrapped it around the testicles of the country… giving a politically correct yank… the country of Scotia…was neutered. Scots free me arse…….. Ya kilt wearing sissies of the barren north have taken all the glories of the past 700 years and killed them with a few moments of stupid blather. I will never set foot in your country because I fear the spirits of The Bruce and Wallace will beg, with tears streaming down, me to restore their manhood… and I will have no words to soothe them. And I detest the sting of corrupt, soft… World complacency and desire for acceptance... that does not sit well with me. Ya failed me Scotia... and ya failed a billion others. Ya cowardly basterds..........
Nought against yer Nana...she was formed of the true Scot blood... not the kiss-dcks of the current generation. Say a hello to her for me if ya believe in tha sort'o thing. Usually I feel better after one of my rants....I am still fuming over the whole bomber stuff.
well.. I am not sure about never visiting the place as after all me old Nana was from Troon... but with everything else I have to agree wholeheartedly... and have applied the EXACT same principles to those stinkin f&^king bunch of C&%$s in Bali and the rest of that festering group of islands called indonesia. I will NEVER EVER put any money into their economy again... I call it Personal Sanctioning
