yes Gary as always you are right, a person had added a lot but with nobody there I tried a study on lines instead, shallow DOF was for geting some mood in that cloudy day but probably not enough as you well point out

The ultra-shallow depth of field doesn't really do it for me, perhaps if there was a person standing against the railings on the left hand side of the frame it would work better, but as it is there's not enough to rest the eye on
