I realize it was a little out of focus. My shutter speed was slower because the amount of light, so it was harder to get perfect focus. But I really ended up liking this photo. I'll be posting more from the shoot. Thank you Hakan for your comment :)

Megan,
This is a very beautiful and soulful portrait! I am glad they are still teaching using film & darkroom. Others have mentioned the slight out of focus, perhaps you meant it to be that way. You will see many of my images that are soft on purpose. For me it makes it a little easier and more accurate to focus on the eyes, on most portraits that is the most important part. Of course all of this is more challenging if the available light level is low. In any case you did a great portrait that was good enough to get all our attention from a little thumbnail.
