This is a wonderful scene, Adam. The foreground tones and composition are terrific. The only thing I don't respond well to are the green plants in the background. The subject of the picture appears to be the pipe, but the background draws my attention and distracts me from the subject. I would be tempted to darken and desaturate the background. A really lovely photo.

The crooked window frame is actually one slat of the window louvers that are falling apart.
If you look at the picture linked below, you will see the pipe on the window sill and the broken slats. :)

that is a cool composition with great colors and textures.. the only thing that bothers me a bit is the backwards tilt of the window frame.. any reason ?
