About I visited the giant Oeresundbride that's connecting Malmoe/Sweden and Copenhagen/Denmark on a rainy and foggy evening in January 2002. I was just carrying my trusty old Canon EF loaded with Kodak Tri-X and equipped with a Canon FD 35-70 f/4.0. It was already pretty dark and wet and cold and I just hoped to get some good shots of the bridge resolving slowly into the fog. Exposure time was around 2 seconds with the lens wide open at f/4.0. I pressed the camera against some rocks and the railing of the bridge as a tripod substitute. After some shots the batteries of the camera meter died and I had to guess an exposure time, but things worked somehow :)

@all: Thank's for your positive comments !
@Betsy: You're right. I used this signature for bigger image formats - it should be smaller for this image size.

Very well done, excellent perspective and nice subject, I think that this composition works well in B&W, very suggestive and original. Thank you for your explanations! Regards Massimo

What a great result and thanks for sharing all the technical details. This is super as black and white, so moody, You captured a nice range of tones and the perspective is inviting. The lights are glowing all the way to the end of the bridge. You were in the right place at the right time with the right camera and film -- wouldn't have turned out better if you planned all day. I would probably make your signature smaller so it wouldn't take away from the photo, or eliminate it all together.
