Interesting history of photography in the family Roger. As for me not really anyone before or after (as yet), my kids aren't interested at all.

Again one of those typical impressions that you keep on providing us with, Ian. It is real but pretty soon I discover that it is not really real. The color combination and the light on the top of the grass lets it look much like difference clouds. A sight of somebody that lays on the ground and has to directly look at the games of some strong light source behind the plants while they are moving - quite an intriguing thing.
Cheers,
Nick

yeah.. and his father before him...his dad Robert won a Gold Medal at the Sydney International once Dad was pretty good but never competed much beyond camera clubs.. but good pictorial was his strong point.. I have his wartime pics on my website http://www.progalleries.com.au/en/Album/Cover.asp?A=157420 his sister is a photographer too, Audrey Crawford.. she has done well she has got a couple of honours in the APS (for what that's worth) its odd when you Google Audrey you pick up a couple of mentions but when you google her hubby (now dead) Ray who was the photographer for Cadbury in Hobart, Tasmania you find nothing me lil bro Ian wasn't bad in his day when he volunteered on the Franklin Dam Blockade he had a couple of his shots used on Wilderness Soc'y posters n stuff now he lives quietly in Canberra...my sister, Sally tries real hard to be.. but I think she has given up, her daughter Nicky (who is in Scotland at the moment) is giving it a bash as well... both my sons couldnt give a tinker's cuss nor for that matter could my wife or any of her family... so my CV is all there is and when I cark it... well they are gonna have a sh1tload of pics to chuck out eh... I have actually commenced negotiations with the local art gallery re the donation of works including negs to them Brad Franks the current Manager is keen to get hold of them
