Man you have got the concept right. Pity the lights are playing against each other. You should try it again with minimal depth of focous - concentrating on the boys face. He is out for a kill. I would suggest to under expose it as well.
good work, nice contrast on chess board area, great use of b&w with portarit, but I think there should be less angle in the picture so it could be more balanced, I get a feeling as if an eye was sliding off to much to the left while looking at it
