Wowww!!Whatch those legs!! Very nice action shot Kerry, excellent crop. You might try pushing up your ISO and a smaller f-stop. I normally shoot at ISO 400 and 1 stop from full open. With the Tokina 80-400 from ISO 400-640 AT F8.Any noise can be easily removed with noise remover.Neat Image has a free version which is excellent. Take care Robbie

Nice capture Kerry, I like the balance of this showing the front and rear paws above the snow, and the long shadow adds to this.

I will, for sure... But if you see a gold Dodge parked in the vicinity with a long lens poking out the window, no need for alarm! Just me... ;^) Thanks Deb, KS

Good work Kerry, these guys are so hard to capture! As soon as you stop the car they are "outta here". I had the big elk herd on my place again yesterday, but only had time for a couple of shots on my way out. Keep trying! Debbie

Another great shot Kerry.
Unfortunate you weren't a little higher to get a better angle on the tracks in the snow, but I certainly understand the difficulties of shooting wild animals in their natural habitat.
All the best, Ed
