South Africa is one of those places that has so many good things about it, but then so many bad things. I mean, the crime and that is bad, and the political scene is a joke, but then the scenery and natural world here is varied and beautiful. You go from savanna, to arid desert, to forests, to the fynbos biome, which is pretty special, as it is the smallest floral kingdom of the six (only occurring on a 100-200km wide stretch of coast), but it has the most species.
Sorry, i'm starting to sound like a travel brochure, but both my parents work in the enviroment, so it's kinda all around me.
but SA really is a great place for taking photographs. If you want, you can follow this link to the profile for Joggie Van Staaden, my photography teacher. He has some absolutely brilliant shots, and they are all from this region.
And i'm glad to have a friend in Greece. Someday I'm going to travel, so hopefully I'll be taking photos there soon.

I am so happy I have a friend in South Africa, somehow I feel connected to you people there, maybe because I imagine your place as being exotic and sooo beautiful and my dream is to live in such a place.Well, the lyrics are not mine, you can listen to the song if you go to myspace and look for Koop.I don't particularly like that kind of music but I find this song special.Thanks for the add.You made me happy!

Nice for the detailed representation of the sand and water in the foreground, and the blue water out of focus in "inifinity", between which two the main actor appears in a well balanced light. Perhaps a good motive for some touristic prospects of some more "peaceful" beach than the overcrowded ones that we all know. But of course then a bit bigger and a bit more visibility of the right arm, or even a higher angle in order to avoid the look of somebody being *in* the sand.

I want to be honest, the whole thing about my health had a result in my psychology, unfortunately I suffer from fits of depression and photography gives me the only joy I have this period.Fortunately after 8 months of problems things are getting much much much better and I have to say that the person that really helped me emotionally was my father.You are a father Baha, aren't you?I am sure you know what it means to see a close person to you suffering physically and emotionally.
