I also think that this worked well as a floral macro, Gustavo. I only wished that the petals were a bit less glossy.

Indeed, the flashlight made the petals look quite "glossy" because of the strong glare. It was exactly such images that made me also turn to such less strong light for flowers after trying out the flash. With a flash much of the texture of the petals disappears under a very "smooth and glossy" look and the flower gets some kind of plastic look.

Hi Nick, Like we were talking about a couple of weeks ago with the tulip images, A flash will sometimes show quite a lot of glare off the petals. You have a little here, but not too much. I still think the best way to go is natural light with florals. Especially on a damp, overcast morning. Andre
