Well, first of all, when you said "not a whole lot going on there" that is totally portrayed thru the photo, excellent work with that! Second of all, WOW your lining is perfect! I love how centered and straight it is, and especially the angle you took this at! All the colors are so beautiful too... excellent work, I love it! :)

Hi Kes,
I disagree with you! There is very much going on here. The image is very dynamic. It is an iconic image of America's West. It's where you find Jack Kerouac, "On The Road" It's Captain America, "Easy Rider" and those guys from "Two Lane Blacktop". It's Steinbeck's Grapes of Wrath and it's even "The Beverly Hillbillys" There is a lot going on here. :)

Thanks David! Lots of post process manipulation! :) Picasa2 makes it easy; however, the Joneses don't use it. They don't use The Gimp much either, and it came in handy here to correct some issues in the clouds.
