Cheers Roby, my friend! Yes, I'm quite happy with this one at the moment, but the more I read and the more I see in other photographers' work, the more I want to go back and rework my own images. Anyway, after a short absence, I'm back home and hope to catch up with my UF friends over the next few weeks.

The scariest thing in your life, Rina? Then you must have been very sheltered or be of a particularly nervous disposition (snigger, snigger)! I have to say I really enjoyed working with this one, which probably indicates a lot about my own nature...

Ok John, this is really creepy! Man, I gotta admit it is some first class work though. Never trust a photographer with some spare time and an image . . . or an idea . . . :P
Incredible . . . I confess to looking at it over and over . . . meshed quite nicely too!
Regards, Doyle I <~~~~~

Hahaha. Who needs the story--this one is great. And for the record, I prefer it with the beak bit.

AJ -- I just had a thought -- not sure it is worth considering. Take this same result (of mirroring) and select the right eye (not quite the entire area), then flip the selected pupil. The result will make the picture look like the light is coming from the same direction on both eyes and slightly "break" the exact mirroring effect. Just a thought. --Jan

AJ -- Wonderful effect and well executed; you took an already impressive photo and turned it into a completely different vision. Darn good work! --Best to you, Jan

This majestic image proves once again that if the portrait isn't good enough, you weren't close enough

Cheers Art! I tried various versions, some of which did indeed have lots of gargoyles. I actually liked the results with a more curved "mouth" or more slanting eyes (which made him look REALLY evil), but I eventually settled on this one simply because it had the least manipulation.

LOL aj,. perfect,. what a great crop mirror stitch,. congrats,. it was very tempting for me to try this, it was just beggin, so glad you followed up the idea,. it worked out brill,. normaly on the stitch line there would be lots of what i call gargoyle faces that appear from to much detail, but i can only see the one between the eyes, but does not distract,. excellent aj,. well played,. regards art,.
