Thank you, Gary.... and the term "butch" is still used today, though it is a reference mostly used in the gay community to define the difference between "femme" (queen) and "butch" (manly). LOL

Street photography at it`s very best. There`s nothing I don`t like about this. I´m not sure about hip, this guy looks more butch to me (or is that an oldfashioned term?) Regards, Gary

Thank you, John, for such an in-depth critique and for your very kind comments. I was reluctant to even publish this one. I am around a lot of cops but the subject matter usually isn't taken warmly here.
Best wishes, Dave

PERFECT!!! Wow....you are very lucky that you get a photo from a polisman without having problems....I could not take a photo like than...even I could be in veeery long distance! Excellent, and great point of view, lower...with a target on the sigh...and WOW....even the traficlight terned to...red...stop signal... all the emotions here cutted on that sigh and also the face terned nicely to the camera...absolutely an excellent portrait, from the top 10 portraits I ever seen, that really diserve much more than JUST my 7, congratulations Dave, that photo has high price!!!!!

Thanks Ray. I'm not sure how it looks on various monitors but the dark/stark look is what I was going for here. My biggest question about this was whether to crop the photo at the bottom of the barricade. Struggled with that for a while and decided to leave it.
Appreciate the feedback!
