Fascinating, John! It seems as though someone is breathing air through the metal because of the soft blur. Best wishes Annemette

Thanks a lot James....I realy put the lens 'on' that metalic cable so it was sooooo out of focus that gives that size near to the lens (right part of image) and so has that transparent!

Nice use of your DoF. I like how that bit of approaching metal becomes semi-transparent.

hahaha...yikes....nop! That want's lot of luck and I didn't have it....I'll try it again, perchaps with better lighting conditions, that's a mouse catcher! ...well part of it. I try to have the main metalic cable like that, strongly blured, like a ...comet trying to be into the cirqle....but I didn't focused so well on the cirqle too! You are helpful and I think I catch your point! ;-)

Very unique and intersting theory John but I am not sure what the image is becuase maybe my eyes just can't get focused(?) Yikes --- a spooky thought--- I understsnd it is out of focus on purpose, and must be a piece of metal ...(?) Sorry John I know it's not a helpful critique but very honest my friend. Cheers ! michele~

Nice minimal depth of field in there, and you managed to get some good details in spite of the difficult lighting condition, I like it in here .. But I believe that digital enhancements walk hand in hand with digital photography :) Very well done and keep up the good work, Regards,
