Congratulations on the award:-) Beautiful light dreamy landscape, surreal almost. Good DOF and I really like the low perspective. Best wishes Annemette

Such beautiful depth in this shot, i love the translucency of the water and the beautiful details captured. It definitely feels tranquil. Welcome back. Alison

Thank you all, again. Ameed, if you ask for my rating 17-40/4L and 10-22 (I meant, the declaration of 10-22 as lens on 5D here was a formal mistake): the 17-40/4L is a bit better in sharpness and contrast than the 10-22, not much. It has a lot more vignetting than the 10-22, and more barrel distortion @17 mm. But there is no attractive alternative, except maybe the Zeiss 21 Distagon $$$

I am really curious here Carsten. Do you mean you'd rather the 17-40 over the 10-22 with the 5D, if yes, would you please let me know why? Thanks in advance, kind regards,

This is great, it has an almost surrealistic quality to it, with the way the milkiness of the water meets the whiteness of the clouds in the mid-ground. I love the low angle and the sharpness and color of the rocks in the foreground. Beautiful, Carsten.

Thank you all- Ahmed (and Joe), the 10-22 was a mistake :-) I sold it together with the 300D against the 5D, my wide angle is now the 17-40/4L. Alas, more barrel distortion and vignetting, but the 5D outweighs that
Cheers
Carsten

Amazingly done Carsten, I like the composition and the feeling of really wide in here, the 10-22 really hits hard on the 5D :) You managed to get the best out of this shot, very well done, Regards,

Excellent landscape Carsten, I like the very low perspective with the rocks in the foreground in sharp focus. Great dof, great sky and reflection. Very attractive image.
Joe ps I'm surprise you can use the S lens with the 5D.
