HI Art, I dont know If I actually NEED it, but I do really think its time to get away from the XD series, As Im sure you know most of my shots are taken in continous mode and what are seen are the sharp photos, not the 50 percent soft ones, I had and used the 1D Mark II non N, and found that the AF was amazing compaired to the XD series, I will defenitly let you know what I feel are the good and bad points via DPreview. I dont know what you mean by good for me? :) are they bad for someone else :) Take Care....

Marcus, are you sure you need the MKIII? I was reading your comments in DPReview. My name is searching. These are so good with the 30D, but good for you if you get it. I can't wait for your comments on it, it looks like a super camera that won't change for a while. Hi ISO performance is among the best yet along with all the other enhancements. Imagine Resource has a preliminary hands on review if you haven't seen it. Best Regards, Art.

Well done! Can you see the upward sway of the wings which i ahvent seen on any of your shots so far!You always come up with a new angle everytime!
P.S. You could have taught her some bird photography shooting techniques for her not to get impatient:).

Hi Marcus,
Great another great shot of the RtH.
I got some interesting shots at Fitzgerald Marine Preserve but all of them were taken in RAW format, so it's going to take me a while to sort them out.
Hopefully next time you can make it.
I can understan that Rochel got impatient. The traffic was bad and the weather was very cold.
Anyway, I hope you can make it next time.
I think Bob got some great shot of the marine invertebrates.
That place is awesome, I am going back soon.
Take care.
Yamil

Hi again Marcus,
I forgot to mention something about this image. You have a bit of blueish tinge outlining the bird around the tail feathers and on the wings. I was reading about this problem a few weeks ago because it is such a problem with my camera when shooting with the sky as a background. In the article I was reading, they recommend selective desaturation of Cyan or magenta depending on the colour of the aura that you want to get rid of. I tried it a few times and was amazed at the results. Performing this little trick brought a few of my shots back to looking completely natural again. I don't think I've ever seen this on any of your other shots.

Hi Marcus,
My wife and I were watching one of these yesterday. I think he was chasing a couple of Mourning Doves. My wife said she didn't think it was a Hawk because it had such a white belly. I said it was. Now you proved me right. Thanks!
