There's not much i can say that hasn't already been said. but i was looking at the photo, especially the up and down line created by the horses, when i had an epiphany(is that how you spell it). that line makes me think of that chinese/japanese (i cant remember which) ying/yang sign. if i remember correctly, the ying yang represents balance and tranquility. so, not only will you find security in this photo, but you find peace too. this is one of my favourite shots of yours. Well done!

Gorgeous eyes, colours and warmth Joggie. It gives the feeling of that title immediately! Wonderful that mother and child have their heads in different directions but look the same way to protect eachother! Great reading what happened. Thanks for sharing your horses Joggie!

Sweet image and photo splendid. Great the S composition, the perfect balance of the opposite heads, the monocromatic image ... I love their eyes, exited those of the young and peaceful, quite those of the mother. Really a splendid work Joggie. In my fav. of course. Ciao.

To you, this image has the story you presented in the "about". To the viewer, it is the extraordinary beauty of these animals! A pure delight to linger with my eyes on the foal's coat, with such a lovely colour and great details. And next the faces, the foal's and the mother's, intelligent, noble, elegant! And above all, your masterful use of the light! Regards, YT

Great capture Joggie. The tones of brown are beautiful. The interlocking shapes of mother and foal contribute to an excellent composition. The light brown bg in the upper right is balanced by the dark brown bg in the lower left completes a great composition. The expressions on the faces of the animals solicit an emotional response. Excellent work.
Best regards Joe

A wonderful shot and a nice story to go with it, too. I particularly like the expression on the mother's face; she looks worried for her foal. They are absolutely beautiful animals. Kara
