Beautiful capture Darlene colours are great focus and DOf are spot on, the only thing IMO is that there is to much space under the bird, my preference would be to crop an inch of both the bottom and RH side but that;s just me.

My favorite of all ducks. on my current journey I will miss two spring migrations and one Fall. I look to you to keep posting shots like this, I will help me stay sain.
Wonderfuly sharp and awsome color. Your Canon performs well at ISO640. A shot like this would be neat at 1/30th
