Well Dave, my evil twin brother from the past . . . How ya' been? I see that I missed this award winning image when it came out . . . but wanted to congratulate you for what is, in all seriousness, a very well composed and beautiful shot! The lengthening shadows give the strength and depth, not to mention the beautiful (slightly oversaturated) golden hues that warm this entire composition.
We had snow even here in LA County . . . Any more global warming and I'm likely to freeze to death. Of course, Monday promises sunshine and 83 degrees so we will man-up and tough it out. Hope you had a nice holiday season . . .

Hello Dave, thank you, I have worked with it till I give up, I don't know much about computer, so guess I want be able to comment for a while, when I get the money, I guess I will have to take it to the computer shop. when I go to hotmail. it hurts my eyes but I can still get my e_MAIL for the time. Hi Barbara. I'm sorry but I've been out of town. I am also sorry that I can't help you with your problem, I'm not that savvy about computers. But it sounds like that program somehow screwed up your monitor driver. You have have to reload the driver but I don't know how that is done.

The best part is your light and time of day...not to mention the area, landscape , and weather ...

Hello Dave, you are welcome, I am getting behind on my replys and comments. I can go to usefilm but none of the picture looks right. got computer problem. and there is little dots all over my e-mail. When I try to open Microsoft Picture it, this come up in a box. Money Express Requires at lease 256 colors to display properly. Please adjust your montor's display options accordinly. do you want to exit money express now. I have worked on this all afternoon, I give up for to night. got any idles.

Whoops, again, Cathy. I missed answering your question, too. Yes, that is snow... we've had quite a bit in the last two weeks... since the faces in this photo are primarily facing southwest, exposed to the sun the longest, this particular view doesn't well represent how much is currently on the ground here.
