Doyle -- PS - Forgot to mention; your recent Point & Shoot of bird baby inspired me to order a Point & Shoot for myself. Should arrive on Thursday and hope to play with it and maybe post some pix next week. Compromised on what I got but did it knowingly... gave up RAW format and ordered the Canon G7. Like the size and heft and most but not all specs to my pleasing.

Doyle -- Thanks so much for your comments -- and just to make sure I dispel any perceived myths, my drink is usually empty when I finally put it down. I am just too lazy to get up and return to the kitchen with the empty glass. Not to mention that it also sometimes takes two hands and my nose to operate a complicated remote.

Meg -- thanks for checking this one out. I have done five Life Choices photos so far; all about everyday choices that we never stop to think about. They are not art but they are fun to do.
Oddly, the remote control picture resonates mostly with women; not sure what that means other than the remote control must have some kind of male-oriented bias as a favored device.

Thanks, Deniz. It is a nifty universal remote that gets its programming via a USB port to your computer; made by Logitech-Harmony. Works great.

AJ-- The new replacement remote (arrow) in this photo is accompanied in the picture by four of the remotes that it replaced. Missing from the picture is a remote for the DVD player and another one for a TV in an adjacent room. I had so many remotes that they crowded the picture and I decided not to beat a dead horse (or remote in this case).
I thought the product names were not relevant (like Hitachi, Sony, COMCAST, TIVO, etc.) so I smudged them. Probably would have been better just to leave them alone, thinking about it in hind sight. Not a work of art in any event, but part of my Life Choice series where I try to trigger a thought or smile in the eye and mind of the viewer.
