John,

I get the same thing but only when I use the circ pol in the cokin holder and under about 14mm.

Peter.

Hi John, the Cokin system is fine. Each photo I have listed has been stacked with a polariser, ND grad and sometimes a third full frame ND. I am also using the same lens with a Minolta badge. The widest I shoot stacked with 3 filters is about 13mm. I have a cokin filter holder that has been filed down to only hold one filter if I need to shoot at 11mm. You can't use the polariser at 11mm it is too thick but you can use any other filter. One way to see how far you can zoom out is to focus the corner of the lens on a light and zoom out until you see physical vignetting (dark corners) through the viewfinder then zoom back a bit. Regards, Collin.

I get a slight vignetting when I use a polariser on my sigma 10-20, so I would imagine two filters as Paul suggest is the problem. There are thinner polariser on the market, (but cost a bit)

Cokin or Lee P Series I think are 90 x 150mm (approximately) sheets and avoid this issue

If you really want to stack filters, the best way to do it is with a matte box mounted in front of your lens. Then, you have clean squares of glass that are much wider than your lens, allowing you to combine 2, 3 or more filters in one shot.

Well, my guess would be that two filters in front of the lens is too much (especially if you're shooting at 11mm). It's likely capturing the edge of the filters. Either use just one filter or zoom out slightly to prevent this.
