About An editorial shoot for an upcoming issue of Bravo Magazine, profiling this downtown businesswoman. I thought it would be fun to catch her in the middle of Houston Street, where she's making so many things happen for San Antonio.

Hi Paul,
I read in your "intro" you can take it, that's good! So I"ll be just frank with you, ok?
I could have choosen between a dozen gorgeous models you photographed but took this one. It's strange to see a "elderly" lady posing in that way. So self-confident, standing in the middle of the street...on the other hand being a business-woman implies being self-confident I suppose.
Anyhow she surely looks happy with the attention you are giving her :)
Now the foto itself, I feel it filled with unneccesary data like the man behind, the van, the buildings, etc... A smaller aperture-number could have done the trick here? You where already shooting at 800 so no problem there.
On my screen, perhaps not on yours off course the black of her trousers and that of the...( don't know the name in English, sorry) are equal with no borderline giving the line between the two. Pity for that.
But it's a playfull picture of a serious businesslady, doing serious things I gather :)
Conclusion, a bit of a love-hate feeling here.
She was willing enough, that's for sure but perhaps the conditions weren't.
So, I hope you don't mind my frank comment !
Keep up the good work and grtz,
Alain

You picked wonderful place for making picture of this businesswoman Paul. She made just a little break between two steps posing for you, it means that she has not too much time :-)
Greetings
Radmila

You've certainly captured that "casual but competent" look that many contemporary business people seem to have. She looks like she hasn't (yet)lost the ability to have fun.
