About I like rats, mice whatever!:-) This one is not alive though. My daughter has a rat and snake that looks quite real:-) She enjoys playing with them while people go eeeeeeeeeeeuuuwwwwwwwww. I“m glad that I have such a great impact on her, so I can learn her not to fear spiders, rats etc. but respect them for the living beings they are. They also have a life to live that is as important to them as our lives are to us.

Oh I remember seing chipmunks in the US. They are extremely cute little fellows!! Yes, we have to find a balance respecting each other the best way we can, animals and humans. The animals always come out short if we want to fight them. I put spiders out in the garden and also spiders, bees etc. I hate killing insects although I don“t sweep the places I walk with a soft broom like some buddhistmunks do in their respect for other living beings:-)) How in the world would I ever get to ANYWHERE??;-)
Take care,
Annemette

beets? I have to look up that word! Ooh BEETS/rųdbeder- but they taste goooood:-)Much better than any spider anyway, and I have eaten a lot of spiders because that“s a delicasy in the Danish cousine...you don“t belive me??;-)))))
Oh the poor dodo, what a sillylooking poor extinct bird from Mauritius. Thanks for the info!
Take care,
Annemette

You are right again Annemette... All living beings have a life and purpose that is as important to our ecology as ours is . We have chipmunks in our attic and between the walls .... that are making a lot of racket here in neotsu, Oregon... but they do startle me... we don't kill them just toss towels on them and take them out to the tree's !!! They keep coming back in but they are funny... Gues s we all got to learn to live together ...aaahhh to a degree !!!!

Best wishes,
Michele~

Well, I don't really have any food restrictions. I'll avoid primates for health reasons. Beyond that... I like food. About the only thing I've eaten that I've never ever enjoyed is beets. Horrible little blood red hunks of dirt. I would probably eat a snake given the right conditions. No mice or rats though. Hmmm... spiders? Hehe. Crab? Oh, and the dodo:

Very sad story.

Hehehehee . . . Apparently you're not James Cook's mother!! LoL! I'm suspecting he'd trade the rats for a six-pack of beer!

You got the right idea though kiddo! Snakes eat rats, like James mentions, so then without them . . . I'm thinking unhappy snakes , , , without whom . . . bird and insect population explosion . . . causing more and less here and there and each creature's species has it's own job, needs and contributions.

That being said . . . tell that little girl I said:
"EEEeeeeeeeeeeewwww!" Hehehehee!

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

I like snakes because they eat rats. I think we could get by just fine without rats. And spiders eat mosquitoes. Another form of life we could probably get by just fine without. I mean, I'd trade mosquitoes going extinct (that means a halt to maleria) for a nice herd of rhinos. And, yep, I'd bring back the dodo in exchange for all them rats.
