Thanks, Robin, but I think this would have been a little better if I would have lightened up the background a little. It was dark green before I decolorized it. Have been going back over some of my old stuff to see how it might come out in BW. Regards. Anson

I would have preferred a little lighter backgroun, Emgy, but this is what shook out after taking the stripes out of the little orchid. I like this version, personally. I'm glad you do too. Anson

I posted this photo in color several months ago, Stef, and it got very modest attention. The background is normally very dark green, showing up almost black in this conversion. Maybe I will repost it for comparison purposes. This is a red striped orchid. I took the red out by use of the channel mixer sliders in PS. Thanks for the nice comment. Anson
