Thanks Leslie for your valid comments ... but ... So difficult to get the right setting to take Sara . One way it was my House or as this pic the house opposite , to the left is the rubbish of the builders Yard and to the right was a great row of plastic greenhouses . It was such a bright day and could not get such a wide an apperture as I would have wished for . I was just pleased that I managed at least a natural looking picture of her :))

Mavis this is a wonderful picture of a childs moment...the clarity of the bubbles and catching her just as she is blowing them is marvelous...but I agree on the selective focus...if the background were blurred then the focus would be strictly on your grandaughter and the viewers eye would not wander to the house or flowers...this is a great picture of her though...

Good angle, nice exposure under relatively harsh lighting, and the subject is well focussed. I think, though, that the picture would be even stronger if you used selective focus to throw the background out of focus.
