Beautiful tones, I liked very much the idea to put the boy and the girl on the scenario.

The perspective, the angle, and the crop are also great, really great.

I also like that they are looking to different places.
Cool work and cool idea.

Best wishes,
Renato

The angle height and colour- brilliant. Great lesson to me in all the different images and feel in the same place- endlessly striking and fascinating to me.

Wooow! It is very original idea, well taken and so
mysterious. Love the special atmosphere and tonality.
Great one my friend!

I haven't reshot it yet, Linda. I will...sometime! The square version I referred to was attached to a reply to Hugo. LOL, anyhow, onward!

Hi Linda! Thanks for taking a look at all these (goofy) shots! Your input is much appreciated too. I put up a square crop but I'm not sure it's what y'all had in mind.

You know, I've got a Rolleicord and 5 rolls of TMX 100 in the fridge. Its 6x6 format might just be the ticked for a reshoot! Yeah!

Hi Hugo -

You are correct, the wall on the right detracts from the main subjects. In fact, I called it "back at you" because it brings your eye - back at you!

I guess it was an attempt at something out of the ordinary. :)

However, I can see where being pulled out of the shot might be annoying...

Thanks again for your suggestions, I'll give it a try.

Best,
Kes

Wow Kes, seems as if it's from another dimension...very very eerie feeling to this. I went back and had a look at the others, I like your imagination...LOL..very nice!! I took a look at a square crop on this and I think Hugo's right about that, it's great. I really like the darker tones in this one the best, and the cloning out of the windows was a great idea too...great creativity and a great image...well done...Kes...:)

Hi Kes,

The darker tones work well for me, but I still struggle with this composition - with all dominant subjects on the left side of the photo, the right side doesn't add much than a large area of negative space. To me, it only reduces the strenght of the photo. The alien presence is excellent, too, as is the off centered PoV... Very cool shot / series...

Yep, having written the lot before scrollling down more, I'd go for the alterante version - maybe with just a tad more space - a square crop would IMO also do nicely.

Cheers,

Hugo

Thanks again Khayala! Very nice of you to look and comment. I have another in this series but I need a break from my slow dial-up internet!

Kind regards,

Well, to be honest I liked this one much more towards ''sear'' & ''second sear''.
Especially I like the brown color that fits well with light harmony since it is dramatic portrait. Congrats.

Regards,
Khayala

In the original post above, the windows on the right (see "sear") were pixeled out.

I like this version also:
