Very good composition. Very impressive sky. Lighting is very good as well. Maybe you should crop the image a bit at the bottom to take out the appearing part of the bridge. Well done, Michalis

Looks like a beautiful city, would love to live in that building with that view (but who wouldn't, right?). Excellent picture!

This shot is very nice too, great exposure and super colours. The clouds in the sky make it look very dramatic. I would have cropped out or masked the railing in the foreground and straightend the buildings out a bit, other than that, there isn't much to critique.

Love the contrasting patterns - soft smokey patterns of the sky and hard sharp patterns in the buildings. Nice work. Regards Greg

Thanks Sam, I had all intentions to take the bridge out, but somewhere between 1130pm and midnight it didn't happen. the only reason the LH building stayed in is the colour, in retrospect i should of straightened it up, but thats what you get using a 17mm.

Hi Jase,
Since this is Critique Corner, I figured that I would put my two cents in. Not that My Opinion carrys much weight.
The comp of the shot is fantastic. The cloudscape is excellent as well. Only two tiny nits. Straighten the building out a bit and that would get rid of the far left building. And crop our or clone out the concrete road way at the bottom. I don't think that you needed to crop out any of the water as to me that would take away from the shot. You always do so well my friend, Thanks for all the comments on my images. My Best Regards
Sam III

Great shot. There is a bit of convergence of the buildings, you could take that out in Photoshop if desired. The incomplete line in the bottom left corner is slightly distracting.

The building doesn't look real, it looks like a big ruler! Love the reflections. We visited Melbourne for the first time recently and were very impressed with the laid back feel of the city. Fell in love with the trams. Won some money at the Casino, is that somewhere near by? We shall return but it takes us a day in the car. Cathy

Nice shot, good composition and lighting.
One thing that jumps out right away is the portion of concrete at the bottom of the photo, I would crop that out... or have zoomed in or tilted the camera up abit when taking the photo... you could even take out abit of the water above the concrete bridge (?) to help position the horizon off-center.
I also like the reflections on the water by the boats.
Cheers, Chris
