I say keep the ump... he belongs there. The anchor of the batter, catcher, umpire trio. I do love the old fashioned images where the umpire used to wear that giant chest protector. That additional character always adds interest for me...
That's always a tough decision, whether to crop the ump out or not. Some like him there because it is more realistic, yet some find it too much... Would like to hear other comments on this, what do you think? Keep, or kill the ump? :)
