Great composition, Rina. The photo has a terrific uplifting feel to it, if you'll pardon the pun.

Hi Andre, no, not planned at all. His movements were rapid and I had no way of predicting what he would do next. So just snapped away continuously. When I got home and had a good look at the results, I was pleased to discover this one. Dumb luck I guess :))... Interesting idea about combining the two shots. May give it go when I have a bit of time on my hands... Many thanks for your feedback Andre!

Hi Rina,
I think this one may be my favourite of the three. At least in composition and for the pose of the person with the staff. The subtle blowing of the shirt is very important to the image. I think so anyway. The position of the staff on the horizon is a nice touch. Was that planned?

I did like the reflections in the foreground water in the colour image. I wonder if you could have combined that nice reflection with this shot somehow. That would be really nice.

I like that comment by Tony about the horizon... There's an illusion on this shot as if the man is holding up the horizon or like holding a curtain and closing down the horizon. I like the multi layers and the man in the middle level.. my favorite of the three Bethells shot! interesting capture.. nice one Rina
regards..

That's one way to make sure the horizon is straight!

I was going to venture another guess as to what was going on and suggest....signalling to his rescuers, but no...you've come up with Taiaha. You will tell me what that is won't you? Pretty please oh beautiful trespasser in my dreams.
Looks wonderful in these definite mono tones and in the full panoramic format sweetie. Very interesting ritual to this lovely peaceful scene. My very best wishes to you as always and delivered with a big hug and kiss.....Ray
