I see. I don't have a helicoid, which means I can only use my EL Nikkor (the 80mm F/5.6) for macros with the M42 bellows on my Bessaflex. It seems to be a really sharp lens... I hardly ever use anything longer than 50mm for ordinary photography, so it wouldn't be worth my while to buy a helicoid. I'm a real "wide guy." [grin]

Hi Roger!
I tried some enlargement lenses and found that EL-Nikkor lens worked very well.
I have some EL-Nikkor lenses but some are for macro use only because they can't focus on far objects.
I like EL-Nikkor 105mmF5.6 and use it with BORG Helicoid system.

Aha! Yes, I use an EL-Nikkor (80mm) as a macro lens with my Bessaflex and bellows sometimes. Works well! (Image is very dark, though.)
