Janet,
I know its been awhile. Life keeping me busy. I have plenty of images to post, just no time to get online. This one is my fav out of your latest post (of course your others are fantastic..this one just catches my eye more). This just can't get any more natural than it is. There is such a purity in her expression and pose. I'll have to admit I almost love portraits more when the subject is able to portray this calm relax expression. Excellent job with the composision, and lighting of course is PERFECT. Incredible as alway Janet.

Wonderfully composed...I love the tilt to the head. One of your few colour portraits whereas I do the odd mono. She is so pretty, totally relaxed and this is another of those shots she will appreciate in the years to come. Well done to you sweet Janet....all the best... Ray

These shining eyes probably belong to one of your precious J's, dear Janet. This is a lovely portrait of her, whoever she is.
You may have noticed that my recent photos were captured in Uruguay. In that country, we were told, everything is done "eventually", so ever since coming back from there, I live in slow motion. That's the reason for being so late in thanking for your comments on my photos. The girl building the tower actually finished it without it toppling over once. At age 8 I found that a real accomplishment. When I've shaken off my prolonged jet lag, I'll write to you what were doing in Uruguay. I'll convey your "Hi" to Rachel.

This young lady will break a few hearts before too long!
I may have already said that on an earlier post. A great looking kid!
I think one thing that you do a lot in your images of the kids is you have a knack for keeping them simple and letting the natural beauty show through. It's like the kids are the stars of the image without the photographer getting in the way. I think that is a good thing. I think that's one reason why I like your images so much. You have a realy nice style that you have developed, but you don't hit people over the head with it.

Your girl is one stunning creature... A striking natural beauty that appears quasi-European to me. Has the question of modelling part-time ever come up? That is, if she's keen to... You always could sit in on angency photo shoots and show the photographer how to do it properly! :))

there she is again, my favorite J! :) Just look at those beautiful eyes!
The wider framing shows her beautiful hair. And Dina is right she seems so relaxed and confident, it feels very natural. Thats sometimes difficult to get as a photographer coming to a family. Especially for me being 6`3" and 230 lbs. My sheer presence is intimidating :)
If you want photos of you kids with a scared expression, just call me ... lol
Anyway, wonderful portrait or a wonderful young lady.
