just read some of my original comments...did not photoshop in the bird....just an additional shot (from the rapid fire exposures)of the boy.

hey Sergio...thanks for the kind words...this shots about 4 years old...and from what I remember it wasn't the timing as much as the work I did using Photoshop...I think I combined 2 shots of this little boy running by the ocean, then added a bird I captured earlier that same day. I sort have got away from posting on this site...but your comment helped get me back again.
thanks.

This is just wonderful Joe, the blur effect on the kids and the bird generates a feeling of motion, very well composed and captured,
A well deserved award, Regards,

Joe, I like this photo alot. Has a painted look to it with the focus issue. Cool how you blended the two photos together. Keep on experimenting, the only way we learn. Well done! Marilyn

Congrats Joe on the SC award. I too thought it was brothers running for the full. Nice work. The cleaned up version is even better. Enjoy!

sorry...not a focus problem...just a sloppy job in Photoshop. Yes there's only one red headed kid but I had two rapid fire shots...lol

I agree about the focus issue, but I love how their bodies are in synch with each other. I think this would be nice in black and white.

Wish the focus was a bit better on this- a great moment to capture to be sure. What cute little carrot-tops they are! Gotta love the beach!
