alexander,

well done! Vey nice capture. You did an amazing job of giving each clip it's own character. My guess is, that the standing members, will seek revenge for the fallen clip.

The detail, contrast, and color balance are superb! Well done, and well deserved for POD. Congrats!

best,
-Joel

This is such a cool shot! It just goes to show that there is a lot around us waiting to be 'seen' with a good photographer's eye. Who would have though emotion could be evoked from image of clothes pins? Nice work.

Hi Hugo and Karen....
Thank you so much for your coments and feedback. It just not easy to find an idea which combined with emotion or story behind it, i just try to digging it.

Hi Alexander, very creative photo. A very sad story indeed, or at least a very strong metaphore of a sad story.

The choice of DOF nags me a bit, though. For me, it's either too shallow, or too deep. The blurred clothes-peg in the rear is just too slightly out of focus. I would either opt to keep it well in focus, making it more a part of the group, or go for the f/2.8, and use the DOF to create a stronger feel for the depth in the photo by making it more out of focus. Hope you see what I mean. A great lense, isn't it?

Cheers,

Hugo

Great idea, I love when photograher's use inanimate objects to mimic humans and their behaviors. That poor clothespin has gone to waste and not one of his peers were able to help, they just stood there idly by watching its deterioration. Good work~
