Hi Molly - Looking at your 'The Java Jive' photo, there are a few constructive comments I like to express - first, I think its a wonderful building and a good subject selection. You've probably noticed that the spout area is dark and at first it was hard to tell what it was. Of course the web images are small and sometimes hard to see. I remember some famous photographer's comment "If you think you're close enough, you're not" might apply here. It took me a long time to get over my fear that if I went in too close I'd loose the subject - but in fact, I know better now. Close in is interesting! I'd have shot the upper right corner where the light play occurs and let the viewer try to figure out what was happening in the rest of the image. Nevertheless, you have a good eye for the subject.
