Thanks, Mike. Yes, I own this lens. I guess I've had it for awhile and forgot about it. Pulled it out the other day and have been practicing shooting at 1.8 just to see what I can get. I really like it. :)

I like the dof used however, you seem to have lost all the detail in the black with too much contrast imho.

Pat,
I'm so much of a shallow DOF guy, I just love this!! The expression of the child is great and the lighting is wonderful. Great B&W conversion and the compo and expression on the foreground subject just adds warmth and personality to the photos. You do such lovely work!!

I couldn't help but smile when I saw this photo. The young girl in the foreground is just beautiful and I just love the expression on her face and the little terror behind her.
Excellent focus and wonderful DOF. I think this is just fabulous. 7+!
