Sorry Sally, in Greece a fully dressed money tree doesn't stay dressed for more than 5'' sec.

Hi Ayse! Yes, this is a very common legend that is found on many cultures in the world. In Greek mythology there were fairies too among the trees and there are many myths in which gods where transformed into trees.

In some part of Anatolia (maybe others in diff. part of the world), villagers believe that every tree has a fairy:) again impressive mood Pan!!
