Nice whooshy effect with the beard and the weathered face here.
Yes, it is symptomatic of the current age that many pre-Elizabethan bards and artisans are desolate beyond rejuvenation and wholly unable to hold down a job in a local wheeltappers and shunters' club for longer than a month, and so resort to rolling down commuter-streaked roads and bashing their skulls against commuter-soiled concrete.
There is more to this than meets the eye.

wow, a picture that really intrigues me.. it's the light, and the silhouette which is well backlit by the sun and so is well set off the background, that keeps me looking.... Well done !
