Great shot, Christian! I wonder if the barn is as old as the tree? A well balanced shot with every element neatly in thirds, not to mention great lighting and a crisp focus. Well deserving of the award. Cheers, Gary

A commom tree, a common hut but a beautiful picture! The light and shades have changed the simple scene in an enchanting image. Surly right the honour, compliments Christian.

Thank you all for your warming comments. It had been a time since I participated in UF and thought I would share this one as it was chosen as the members' #1 pick at my local Camera Club last season. The shot was taken last January at one of my "secret places".

Ah... un petit plaisir.. que dis-je un grand plaisir. Quelle belle photo de part ses tonalités, la gestion de la lumière et des ombres, et du pov qui permet de profiter des deux sujets mais aussi de laisser son regard se faire entrainer au loin, dans cette immensité.
Elle est pleine de calme cette photo.

I really like this - the leaning reads lead the viewer into the lighter top left corner. However the darker triangle in that corner has nothing really of interest so perhaps a very slight change of position could improve - stiil - its easy to say that AFTER the shot. Great work
